Our Principal Consultant
Dr Gerald Onsando, the Principal Consultant at Ubuntu Impact Consulting, is an experienced award-winning researcher, program evaluator, and policy advisor who combines academic rigour with culturally responsive approaches to address complex social challenges, empower communities, and drive transformative system changes.
Dr Onsando is a highly qualified research and evaluation professional, holding a PhD (Griffith University), a Master of Evaluation (University of Melbourne), a Master of Training and Development (Griffith University), and a Bachelor of Education (Queensland University of Technology), among other qualifications.
Our Expertise
Our Principal Consultant brings extensive experience in research and evaluation across academia, government, and the not-for-profit sector. Prior to founding Ubuntu Impact Consulting, Dr Onsando held roles in research, program evaluation, training, and data analysis with organisations including AMES Australia, the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Corrections Victoria, the Department of Human Services, the Department of Premier and Cabinet, the Department of Youth Justice, La Trobe University, the Queensland Reconstruction Authority, SkillsTech Australia, and the University of Melbourne.
